Cheshire2The Cheshire2 SGML search engine created originally by Prof. Ray Larson of UC Berkeley. Cheshire's official homepage is at http://cheshire.berkeley.edu. The project is funded by a combined JISC and NSF grant to the University of Liverpool and UC Berkeley. The principal investigators at each institution are Dr. Paul Watry and Prof. Ray Larson respectively. Cheshire3Cheshire3 is under development and may not be suitable for a production system. That said, it is currently in use in production systems including SRW servers and web store front systems. It has been designed and developed by Dr. Robert Sanderson from Liverpool University.
